In the center of the island of Lanzarote is the Al Campesino Monument.

This Center for Art and Culture of Lanzarote designed by the artist César Manrique is a tribute to all those people who with their effort have worked the land. Before the arrival of tourism to Lanzarote, field work and salt were the economic engines of the island.

In a free visit we can visit an authentic Lanzarote construction. We will experience different handcrafts such as the creation of baskets, ceramics or the elaboration of the most famous sauce of the Canary Islands: the “Mojo Picón”

The Peasant Monument also has a bar and restaurant where you can try local dishes.

From Tisalaya Apartments you can reach the Monument by car in just 20 minutes.

Check at the reception times and routes.
