Lanzarote is considered by many as one of the best places in Europe to practice scuba diving.

The clarity of its waters is a fundamental factor but we also find a very characteristic underwater orography due to the volcanic origin of the island.

The average temperature of the water is 18 degrees all year round and the waves are exceptionally calm. We can do dives 350 days a year. This quality favors the practice of this sport at any level and especially for beginners.

We can observe a marine life of the most varied from moray eels, barracudas, rays or angel sharks.

Lanzarote has the largest number of diving centers in the Canary Islands, Puerto del Carmen being the area with the most centers.

Blue Hole, Coloradas, La Catedral or Flamingo Wall are the busiest areas due to their own characteristics and fauna.

Special mention to the Atlantic Museum. Created by Jaso deCaires and with about 2500m2 it is the first submarine museum in Europe. It is one of the most famous tourist spots on the island and is part of the Art and Culture Centers of Lanzarote.
